Remember Cullen and his completely awesome first birthday bash? I had the opportunity to photograph him again this past weekend and it was so much fun! He’s grown tons since I saw him last – and has tons of teeth now too! He still loves his tractors though and was so nice to share them with me during our picture taking :)

Amy and Ryan, it was great to see you guys again! Enjoy your sneak peek :)

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this beautiful family at a park in Round Rock on Sunday afternoon to take some holiday pictures for them. It was a nice change to photograph kiddos that are a little older than my typical clients – I had fun being a total goofball to make them laugh! We got some great family shots too, but I’m keeping those under wraps just in case they make an appearance on some holiday cards!

Erica and John, thanks so much for letting me photograph your gorgeous family! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Sweet little Addison was such a little trooper for our session. She’s a bit older than my typical newborn, so we did more of a lifestyle type session rather than the my traditional blanket set up. And I have to say, I absolutely love the result! It was pretty chilly Sunday morning, but she put up with it so well and we got some adorable shots of her! Her parents, Jen and Ryan, work out at CrossFit Leander, hence the reason behind the third picture :)

Jen and Ryan, thanks so much for letting me photograph your beautiful daughter! Enjoy your sneak peek!

I can’t believe this tiny little peanut is now 3 months old! He was such a trooper for our chilly Saturday morning session and even threw a few smiles my way.

Tracy and Dennis, it was great to see you again! Enjoy your sneak peek!

This morning I got to meet up with MC and her family…you guys all should know who MC is – she assists me on a lot of the weddings I do and she’s just fantastic all around! I was so excited when she asked if we could do some family photos…her boys are so adorable and she looks amazing after a 12-week long body makeover! We got some fantastic shots downtown Austin this morning…my favorite quote of the morning came from her oldest while they were sitting in an alley behind some restaurants. A man came out for a smoke break and he wanted to know (quite loudly) why it was all stinky – I’m pretty sure we were all fighting back laughter :)

MC and Jon, enjoy your sneak peek! I had a great time with you guys this morning!

Chris’s mom contacted me a few weeks ago wanting to get some senior pictures taken for her son – and Chris reminded her uite often that they were “her” pictures! It’s such a nice change of pace to get to work with seniors – they actually listen to you and I don’t have to get in a second workout for the day chasing them all over a field ;) We had such a fantastic conversation while walking through Old Settlers Park capturing some awesome pictures to remember his senior year of high school by.

Chris and Dianna, thanks so much for meeting up with me yesterday. It was great to see you guys again. Enjoy your sneak peek!

I met up with this family this morning and couldn’t get over their adorable girls with their piercing blue eyes! So beautiful :) We had a fantastic time with the ducks and were astonished that there was a little bit of frost on the ground this morning. It was a nice to see that fall really is here to stay and not just here to tease us…or at least I hope!

H family, thanks so much for letting me photograph your beautiful family this morning. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Yeah, it’s been awhile since I’ve blogged. A long while! I’ve been a little busy trying to play catch up and get everything edited and out to my clients on time. I’m sure you guys appreciate that, right? :) But I figured I better catch up on blogging before this weekend since I have 5 sessions to rock!

A few weekends ago, I met up with Elle and her sweet family. I met Elle through an online forum of photographers and have really enjoyed getting to know her! We decided to swap sessions this year so we could each get some great photos of our families with US in them for a change! I won’t go into how nerve-wracking it is to photograph another professional photographer – it’s kind of terrifying, lol. What I was really surprised at was how much work went into getting my family ready for the pictures. I think I started thinking about our outfits 2 months out. And bought and returned several different outfit combinations. And then ended up in the Domain a few hours before our session because I had a last minute change of heart on our clothes and Greg had nothing to wear. It defintiely was an eye opener and how much you all go through to prepare for your sessions!!

We met up in downtown Austin for her session early on a Sunday morning, and then later that day she came out and photographed us. If you’re friends with me on Facebook, you should go check out our sneak peek in my tagged photos. I’m in love with them and can’t wait to see the rest!

Elle, thanks again for swapping with me! It was so fun to hang with your family. I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I’ve been enjoying mine!
