Yesterday I was blessed to get to photograph two beautiful pregnant women awaiting their precious little babies…first up is Julie! Julie is absolutely glowing – she is the most laid back and relaxed person ever and I had so much fun walking around downtown Georgetown with her and her husband Kelly. They are expecting their third child, Lucy, in just a couple months and seem incredibly excited for her arrival!

Julie and Kelly, thanks so much for allowing me to photograph you guys yesterday! I had a blast. Enjoy your sneak peek!

I met up with Kristina and Aaron yesterday for our re-shoot of Lily’s one year photo session…this one went much more smoothly than the last one! Only a few tears were shed this time and I got to see Lily’s beautiful smile a lot! Another difference between this session and the last one? Little Miss has perfected her walking and gave me a run for my money chasing her around downtown Austin trying to get a photo of her sweet little grin.

Kristina and Aaron, as always it was so great to photograph your family! Enjoy your sneak peek :)

I was so lucky to meet precious little Violet and he parents yesterday morning. I loved every single second of our session! Her parents live in a totally awesome house (that I was just slightly jealous of! :) ) and they are completely head over heels in love with their new daughter. The family shots we captured at the beginning of their session are some of my favorites that I’ve ever taken!

Beau and Leslie, it was so great to meet you guys yesterday. Thanks for letting me photograph Violet! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek :)

Sometimes you have grand plans for how a session is going to go while your session participants have drastically different ideas! Sunday was definitely one of those days ;) I have been so excited to take Lily’s one year pictures…I did her newborn and 6 month pictures and couldn’t wait to see how much she’d grown! Rain had kept us away for our first two attempts at the session and we were so excited when Sunday turned out to be gorgeous and sunny and warm!

Sweet Lily, however was just not having it. We tried and tried to get smiles – even went back to the car for her favorite Melissa & Doug Salad Dressing bottle…but she was not a happy camper! (But seriously, isn’t she adorable even in full-on meltdown mode?)

We did manage to capture a few smiles…as long as Daddy was in sight. She’s defintiely a daddy’s girl!

But after an epic meltdown, we decided to try again in a few weeks ;)
