Changes at Libby Ann Photography
I’m not quite sure how it became the middle of 2011 already…I mean, seriously, wasn’t it just January?! Either way, 2011 has been great so far. I’ve worked with so many fantastic families this year and I have loved every second of it! I’m really excited for the fall – not only because the weather will (hopefully!) cool off, but because I have some great ideas for fall mini sessions and have some FUN templates for holiday cards this year!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been doing some research into how I can provide better services for your family. The most common question I get asked is that about digital files. When I held spring mini sessions, nearly every family I photographed jumped on the chance to purchase all the digital files from their session on DVD. I know when I have family pictures taken, it’s a big deal…being on the other side of the camera is just as stressful, if not moreso than being the one doing the picture taking! It’s something that I want to be able to remember, from start to finish, in high-resolution JPEG format. I don’t want to stress over how many 5x7s I need to order to make sure all family members get copies of pictures or worry that if I don’t purchase a hard copy of each photo that it will be lost forever.

Beginning in August 2011, I will be moving to an all-inclusive session fee. What does that mean? It means that now included in your session fee will be a disc of all the high resolution digital files included in your gallery. If you’ve booked a signature session, that means you will get a disc with at least 30 images on it after your session! I will still be offering specialty products like Gallery Mount Prints (those have been so popular this year!), Image Boxes, and Albums, but I will no longer be selling prints that cannot be hung on the walls.

The clients I’ve shared this with so far have been incredibly excited for this new change – and I hope you are too! If you’re interested in seeing pricing, just send me an email. I’d be more than happy to walk you through the new changes.

Fall 2011 Calendar
I have opened up my calendar for booking fall 2011 sessions and already, October is nearly full!. If you’re interested in getting something set up for family pictures this fall, please do not wait! I am booking a limited number of sessions this year to allow me time to spend with my family. I will be offering mini sessions this fall – they will be announced later this summer as always.

To My Current Clients
Be on the lookout next week for a fun summer mini-session special in your inbox! I am so excited about this that I could burst…but I’m trying to hold my excitement in for another week so I have images to share with you all! You do NOT want to miss these, that’s for sure!

Thank you all for your support this year. I hope the rest of the summer treats you well!

I’ve photographed the L family several times before and we always end up having such a great time! This past Saturday was no exception…I couldn’t believe how much the kids have grown. I mean, it’s only been a year since I last saw them! But in that year, sweet little Mia went from a chubby baby to a beautiful little girl and Jacob got even bigger and more handsome! We did their entire session downtown on the UT campus. It wasn’t too hot yet, but boy was it windy! Hope you enjoy their sneak peek!

You’ve seen Lily on my blog probably a hundred times before. I got to watch her grow up from a tiny little newborn to a smiley little baby to a wobbly toddler. Her mom contacted me a couple months ago wanting to set up an extended family session to celebrate her parent’s 35th wedding anniversary. So last Saturday, I drove down to Gruene, Texas to photograph one of my favorite families! And believe it or not, Miss Lily is now a full-fledged running toddler! We had a great time (albeit hot) morning walking around downtown Gruene, finding quaint, rustic buildings to use as backdrops. It was so much fun to meet the rest of the E family and get to help document an incredible milestone for Diana and Rick.

Thank you guys for letting me in on such a fun family morning! I had a great time with y’all (as always!) and hope you enjoy your sneak peek :)

I love this family! We all used to be in a small group at church together and it’s been so fun watching them grow. Last time I photographed them, Austin was very into the camera and Angie was pregnant with Kinley…my how times have changed! :) Austin was a little more camera shy than last time, though he still cooperated very well…and Kinley? She’s nearly a year old and is full of smiles and grins. Both Austin and Kinley have the most amazing blue eyes – I love them! I think they just have great genes :)

Doc and Angie, it was so great to see you guys. I hope you love your sneak peek!

I’ve been looking forward to taking this beautiful little girl’s pictures for a long time! We had a mini session scheduled for March, but after rescheduling due to the weather and then again due to a family emergency, it seems like it’s been a long, long time! But it was so worth the wait – we got some beautiful pictures of Miss Kate and her gorgeous eyes and adorable pigtails! And I was blown out of the water by her vocabulary – holy cow! She kept saying, “We in Georgetown.” ha! Yes, Kate. We are in Georgetown! You are one smart cookie!!

Christina and Michael, thanks so much for your patience and for meeting up with me early Saturday morning. I love these images and I hope you do too!!

I have been looking forward to Sam’s arrival for a long time…mostly because his mommy and daddy had picked out his name, but were holding it hostage until he was born! :) We had so much fun at their maternity session a few months back. Big sister Alina was so sweet and loving to her mommy and that was certainly no exception at Sam’s session earlier this week. It was so fun to see her loving on him, giving him kisses and saying, “It’s okay baby Sam!” when he’d cry…almost made me want another one! ;)

Alex and Kelly, congratulations on your precious baby boy! Enjoy this time with him while he’s little!

his sweet family has lived in the same neighborhood, in the same house for the last 10 years. In just a few weeks, they’ll be packing up their belongings and moving to Kentucky for 3 years. A few months ago, Cynthia contacted me wanting to get a mini session to help them remember their time in Round Rock. Her husband is in the military and is being relocated to Kentucky. Round Rock is there home; it’s where their daughter played on the playground when she was younger, where she started school. I was more than happy to do this for them! My family moved around quite a bit when I was younger, so I understand how attached you can grow to a place. We walked around their neighborhood, battled the crazy wind, and took pictures at all their favorite spots. We even played on the playground a bit too!

Cynthia, it was a pleasure to finally meet you! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
