Ashley and her mom met me at the Capitol this morning to take some belated senior pictures. She’ll be going to college this fall and they wanted to get some pictures to document this important milestone in her life and find that *one* great picture for rush! It was hot and bright this morning and the Capitol was absolutely packed with people, but we got some pictures of Ashley that I just love! Not that it’s hard when you have such a beautiful subject to work with :)

Ashley and Julie, it was great to meet you this morning. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Yeah, I know it’s not 2009 anymore. Better late than never, right? :) I had a seriously hard time narrowing it down to ten. So I didn’t! These are my 21 favorites from my client sessions in 2009. And believe me, it was HARD to choose! I had such wonderful, amazing, awesome clients last year. ThankĀ  you all for trusting me, for doing every strange, silly thing I asked you to all in the name of photography. I hope you love your images as much as I do and had a fabulous 2009. You all played such a special part of my year!

Without further adieu, here they are (in no particular order)….my client favorites from 2009!

Here are a few more from Zach’s session yesterday…I had so much fun at this session! Loved the cool weather, the leaves that are (finally) changing, the parking garage, and all this kid’s awesome photo ideas. We had such a wonderful time and I took way, way too many pictures. ;)

Enjoy your sneak peek, Zach!

Ironic, huh? On the cell phone in front of the pay-phone that didn’t actually have a phone in it!

I’m crazy busy, have a session to get ready for, and a house to clean…but I couldn’t resist putting up this image. Zach had this awesome idea and I absolutely LOVE this one! Love it. I promise your real sneak peek will come tomorrow, but I just had to come share this one image :)

Here are a few images from Will’s session a few weeks ago! His mom just placed her order and I’m in love with all the pictures she got. I can’t wait to see how they look in print!

No, not my baby. Someone else’s baby. I’m sure his Mama blinked her eyes and her baby Will was this grown-up, handsome young man. Oh, how fast time goes! We had a great time today getting his senior pictures done just in time for him to run off to college. I hope someday my Will is as neat of a person as this Will is…he’s going to do big things! Thanks for putting up with me and my camera this morning, Will! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Last week my Aunt and her son Brayden came down to Austin and visited for the entire week. It was SO good to see her! She’s not that much older than me and we had lots of fun laughing, talking, and just hanging out. I hate that my family is so spread apart across the United States…Greg and I will definitely be hanging close to family because I feel like it is so important for Will to grow up close (in location) to his grandparents, aunt, uncles.

Anyways, the last night that Penny and Brayden were here, we took a little trip down to the neighborhood green belt and took these awesome shots. My brother, Matt, tagged along (read: was forced to come along!) to play too. He’s going to join the Navy after he graduates college and hopefully become a Navy Seal. I know these pictures will be priceless to me when he’s off fighting for our country! Enjoy!

Sweet Brayden! Can’t believe he’s going to be a fifth grader!

Love this (big) kid :)

Some shirtless pictures were taken, but I’ve promised the ‘lil bro’ that they won’t appear on the site…I’ll see if I can coerce him into letting me show them though…they’re awesome!

I met up with Elli this past Saturday morning and we had a blast walking through the Arboretum shooting her senior pictures. These are three of my favorites from her session, but honestly, I had a hard time choosing favorites! She’s so photogenic and gorgeous. Enjoy your sneak peek, Elli!
