I met up with this sweet family at the Texas Capitol this afternoon. It was a little bit chilly outside (okay, a lot chilly for my Texan blood!), so we took it indoors. There is this amazing rotunda downstairs and we were able to have a bit of privacy and got some really great photos. I loved watching them all interact and it was so fun to watch the babies together…those three are going to have so much fun growing up together.

I got to photograph this beautiful little girl this morning…I’m in love with all her gorgeous blond hair and her perfect, pouty lips! She definitely gave us a run for our money, breaking a record of peeing not only all over her Daddy, but on every single one of my blankets! 
I’ve found the little girls are always a bit more feisty and challenging than the boys. Gotta start early, right?

My baby boy is ten months old. Ten months of laughing so hard I cry. Ten months of fascination in everyday things. Ten months of joy. Ten months of diapers. Ten months of breastfeeding. Ten months of sleepless nights. Ten months of so much love it feels like your heart might burst. Ten months of learning. Ten months of kisses. Ten months of Will.
Ten months. 43 weeks. 306 days. 7,344 hours. 440,640 minutes. 26,438,400 seconds. Loved every.single.second of it.

I can’t get enough of this little chunk, so I just had to come back and share some more favorites from her session. Love her!
I LOVE this adorable Longhorn hat her mommy got on Etsy. I’m definitely going to have to add one to my hats collection soon!
I love this one a lot…I can imagine her looking a lot like this all cozy in her Mommy’s tummy.

Wow, January has been such an awesome month for me! I’ve had amazing, precious, sweet little newborns to photograph every single weekend…I love my job so much! I got to meet little Jaxen and his parents this morning. He was such a chill baby and he loved his paci.
Lauren and Gerard, it was great to meet you guys this morning. Hope Jaxen let you get a nap this afternoon!

I think I’m having a little bit of a case of denial. I honestly can’t believe that in one week and one day, my baby will be 10 months old. How and when did that happen?! In two months, he will be one year old. I really can’t believe that nearly a year has gone by with this little monster in my life. I know I need to start planning for his first birthday party, but I’m having a hard time realizing the fact that my little 8 pound 12 ounce brand new baby boy is going to be a year old in two short little months.
Almost a year? This guy? No way.

My poor little man has three teeth coming in…yep, you read right. THREE. At once. Poor guy! He spent the majority of yesterday whining. Whining on Daddy’s lap. Whining during dinner. Whining while following me around the house. He’s not eating well at all (not a great thing when you’re trying to GAIN weight!) and he’s just miserable. I feel so bad for him! We’re doing Motrin, teething tablets, cold wash cloths, and lots of snuggles around the clock…anyone have any fantastic teething remedies for me? I’m open to ANYTHING!
In honor of his miserableness, I figured I’d post the last picture ever taken of him with one tooth!
