Wow, so it’s been awhile since I posted, huh? I promise I have a good excuse…I was out of town, at a family reunion. And trying to focus entirely on my family and not think about one business related matter. I totally failed at that, by the way ;) But I had an absolute blast with my family. More about that to come with pictures later in the week!

First I have to come back and share more from Beth and Josiah’s wedding. I shared this shot here, which is still pretty much my favorite shot ever. But I got so many more great pictures from their two-day bash. Here’s part one…reception party pictures to come later!

I am so lucky with my newborns…they’re all absolutely gorgeous and so far they’ve all been great sleepers (-knock on wood-). Miss Reagan was no different. She’s absolutely perfect and has to-die-for chubby cheeks. Her Mommy and Daddy are pretty smitten with her and I can’t imagine why! She came two weeks early (a very nice Father’s Day present, I’d imagine!) and I was so lucky to get to photograph her this afternoon.

Congratulations Courtney and Mike! It was great to meet you guys and get to cuddle with your sweet little girl this afternoon. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Austin newborn photographerI’m loving my new Longhorn hat for newborns! Isn’t Reagan adorable in it?!

And since it’s Father’s Day and all, I couldn’t resist sharing this one of Reagan and her Daddy. I love the way he’s looking at her! :)

I met up with this sweet family yesterday morning and had such a great time, despite the heat and humidity at 8:30 in the morning! Hudson was such a sweet little guy with the best funky crawl ever! He was all smiles when I didn’t have my camera in front of my face, but the second I tried to snap one of those adorable little grins, he got all serious studying my camera…stinker!

Kristin and Seth, thanks for coming out to meet me yesterday. Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend in Dallas! Enjoy your sneak peek :)

I finally got to meet up with Braxton and Kristen again this afternoon for part 2 of our 3 part session. He was all smiles before I got there, but of course conspired against us and turned the smiles off when I got there. [My screaming toddler probably didn't help matters any...sorry again for having to witness that, Kristen!] However, I managed to catch this one. I knew I loved it when I saw it on my LCD screen…but I didn’t realize just how much I loved it until I pulled it up on my monitor at home!

Round Rock Baby PhotographerLook at that little face – the hint of a smile and those big, gorgeous eyes. I kind of love this baby! He’s so cooperative and laid back. And he’s so stinkin’ cute! I’m very much looking forward to the final part of our very drawn out session…and I’m hoping I can conquer the serious and get some REAL baby smiles!

Thanks for letting me come by this morning, Kristen! Hope you enjoyed your sneak peek :)

Howdy from Houston! I just finished uploading and backing up pictures from Beth and Josiah’s wedding ceremony this evening and I had to take a quick peek at them. Saw this one from right after the ceremony and fell in love. I just had to proof it real quick and share it! More to come later this weekend from the ceremony this evening and the reception tomorrow!

Congratulations, Beth and Josiah! It was such an honor spending the day with you guys. Can’t wait for the party tomorrow :)

1. Sorry for the complete lack of blog posts this week. I’ve been so busy editing that I haven’t even thought about blog posts during my computer time each day!

2. I’ve also been busy spending lots and lots of time with my little boy…lots of one on one time! And let me tell you, it ROCKS. I really enjoyed watching children, and if we need for me to do it again, I’ll enjoy it again. But you can’t beat being able to give your own child your undivided attention. We’ve worked on his colors, his animal sounds, played in the pool a ton, done lots of shopping, and hung out with Grannie, CP, and Uncle Matt (aka my parents and brother) this week. It’s been awesome. Will has now added the duck sound (gah gah gah gah gah – hey, it works for me!), the polar bear/bear/lion/black panther sound (raaaaaah) and the dog sound (ffh fffh or sticking his tongue out and panting) to his repertoire of animal sounds.

3. Tomorrow I’m headed out of town for a wedding in Houston and I’m way excited about it! The ceremony is tomorrow at sunset on the beach and then the reception will be on Sunday. Word has it that the reception is going to be the party to be at! I’m excited to see all the festivities and of course, capture another couple in love :) I’ll have my laptop with me, but I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to get online. If you really need to get a hold of me this weekend, the best way will probably be to call.

4. Next week, I’m turning our dining room into a playroom. I’ve been bugging Greg to do this since we moved into the house, but he’s always resisted since our dining room is one of the first rooms you see when you walk into the house. I’m so tired of our living room looking like Toys ‘R Us though! I have tons of ideas of what I’d like to do with it (and I’m sure my ideas will be reined in quite a bit by budget), but I’d love to see any links to your favorite playrooms if you have them! Or even pictures of your own. I can’t wait to share pictures of it!

5. I just finished proofing this gallery and it’s full of some of my favorite images ever. Love these two :)

Andrew and Christine got married this past Friday at Kindred Oaks. The wedding was beautiful and the weather was gorgeous. Not too hot yet, which was so nice! Ame Soeur Events coordinated the wedding and everything was just perfect! I loved all the little touches and details left around. They even had personalized candy bars…so cool (and yummy!) Congratulations, Andrew and Christine! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Shelby and Kasey have been good friends of ours for several years now. We met through a church bible study and now we make a point to get together and hang out. We were super excited when we found out that Shelby was expecting their first child…and even more excited when we found out it is a boy! Asher will be making his appearance sometime in late July/early August and I think I might be just about as excited as Shelby is :) We hit up South Congress for their maternity portraits and then finished off the evening with dinner at Chuy’s. All in all, it was a fantastic night and I can’t wait to do it again!

Enjoy your sneak peek, guys!
