Mayfield park pictures in austin, texas

Sweet little Gavin is all grown up now! Okay, well maybe not “all grown up,” but he’s certainly grown since I last saw him as a newborn. I love getting to watch tiny little newborns grow into laughing babies and Gavin is no exception! I’m so glad that I got to meet the rest of his family too – we all had so much fun laughing and joking around at their session at Mayfield Park…another photographer even remarked about how much fun it looked like we were having! Thank you all for coming out in the chilly weather – I had a great time with you guys! Enjoy your sneak peek!

This isn’t really a sneak peek anymore since their gallery slideshow has already been delivered, but I just couldn’t let these adorable pictures of Emerson sneak away into my archived files without making an appearance on the blog! Right before Christmas I got to meet this adorable little one to take her 1st birthday photos. It was chilly and a little bit rainy outside, so we played inside for most of her session. I had so much fun with them reading stories, crawling around a lot, eating some snacks, and practicing walking with mommy and daddy. She had her first birthday party this past weekend…happy birthday, Emerson!

I had great intentions of getting sweet Jack’s blog sneak peek up early last week because my husband was in Germany for the week for work…and you know, that means I’d have all kinds of free time to work…right? Right?! Wrong. I’m so behind in everything, but I’m thankful for awesome, understanding clients like this family! This is Jack…isn’t he absolutely adorable? I *loved* his outfit and his chubby cheeks – so, so sweet! He wasn’t so sure about me and my big camera at first, but he was totally being a ham by the end of our session. 10 months is such a fun age!

Way back in March, I held a Facebook contest to celebrate the third anniversary of Libby Ann Photography…the C family won and we did their pictures downtown last Saturday. I haven’t had a session where I’ve laughed so much in a long time and it was so much fun! Kelly and Alex (well, mostly Alex ;) ) were full of great ideas for poses for their photos and Ali and Sam are two of the most adorable kids ever! I was sad when it started getting dark because I wasn’t quite finished having fun with them yet! :) I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek…there are tons more to come!

Last weekend I met up with the sweetest family. Jennifer came up and gave me a hug right after getting out of the car and from the very start, it felt like I’d known them for years, not just minutes! Miss Dahlia was a little stubborn about giving us smiles, but we managed to capture a few! She was incredibly proud of her new walking skills and showed them off a few times. Each time she did, she’d throw her arms up in the air as if to exclaim, “I did it!” Jennifer and Nadav, it was so wonderful to meet you both! I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek!

I’m pretty sure someone sped up time somewhere over the past year. Because it is most certainly NOT the middle of November…right?? And little Ethan can’t be 10 months old, right? Because it feels like I was just at his house photographing his tiny newborn self…it was chilly out last weekend when we met up to get some shots of Ethan and his parents, but he was a trooper and gave me his best grins, played peek-a-boo, and was a total flirt – loved it! He’s grown up so much in just a year and is as cute as can be! Jenna and Matt, thank you so much for letting me take pictures of Ethan again! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek :)

Mayfield Park holiday mini sessions
I try hard to stay away from bribery during my sessions, at least in the beginning…I’ve learned from experience with my own 2 year old that there’s a very small window for picture taking between giving the food bribe and said food bribe being all over their face ;) But Marshall was so in love with his candy corn that he stuck it in his pocket and kept checking on it throughout the session! It was so, so adorable! His younger brother Owen was quite the trooper and took a couple tumbles in our attempt to get a sibling shot…but in the end we got one and it’s one of my favorites! Enjoy your sneak peek, B family!

I’m pretty sure the first time I met Taylor, I remarked about how blue her eyes are and how absolutely gorgeous they are…not much has changed since the spring! She has the most piercing blue eyes and they completely suck you in…love them! It was super chilly out for our morning session, but she was a trooper and did great…she even showed off her top teeth that are just now breaking the surface in a few pictures! Christy and Jake, thank you so much for having me do your family pictures this fall! Enjoy them!
