Mayfield Park holiday mini sessions
I try hard to stay away from bribery during my sessions, at least in the beginning…I’ve learned from experience with my own 2 year old that there’s a very small window for picture taking between giving the food bribe and said food bribe being all over their face ;) But Marshall was so in love with his candy corn that he stuck it in his pocket and kept checking on it throughout the session! It was so, so adorable! His younger brother Owen was quite the trooper and took a couple tumbles in our attempt to get a sibling shot…but in the end we got one and it’s one of my favorites! Enjoy your sneak peek, B family!

I’m pretty sure the first time I met Taylor, I remarked about how blue her eyes are and how absolutely gorgeous they are…not much has changed since the spring! She has the most piercing blue eyes and they completely suck you in…love them! It was super chilly out for our morning session, but she was a trooper and did great…she even showed off her top teeth that are just now breaking the surface in a few pictures! Christy and Jake, thank you so much for having me do your family pictures this fall! Enjoy them!

Katie wins the award this year for the happiest baby I’ve photographed! She was all smiles from the time I met her and her parents in the parking lot until we walked out at the end of our session. She made my job easy! And the eyes…oh my goodness, her eyes are to die for. Such a beautiful baby girl! Sweet girl was just learning how to sit up and kept getting a little too excited to keep from toppling over…so mom had to help out in the balance department ;) We got some fantastic family shots as well, but I’m keeping those under wraps in case they make an appearance on some holiday cards! :) Enjoy your sneak peek, A family!

Carson is one of my favorite little clients…his mommy always dresses him in the cutest outfits and even if he does try to hide his smiles from the camera, he’s still absolutely adorable! He rocked the pirate hat during his newborn session. He rocked the Ed Hardy onesie and hat at his six month session. His one-year session Sunday was no exception. Because:

a) Who can resist a baby in cowboy boots?
b) Who can resist a baby in a cowboy hat?
c) Who can resist a baby in a jeans diaper?
d) Who can resist a baby in a cowboy hat AND cowboy boots AND a jeans diaper?

Certainly not me! I had the hardest time narrowing down his sneak peek because they’re all too darn cute…Elise and Robert, enjoy your sneak peek!!

I got to meet Jack (finally!) bright and early in downtown Austin on Saturday morning and before we’d even snapped one shot, he’d already face-planted. But, in true tough-boy fashion, no tears were shed and he was back up on those wobbly toddler feet ready to try it again! His mommy and I are both thankful for Photoshop right about now ;) It was hot, even early, but we managed to get some absolutely adorable shots! I’m totally loving that early morning sunshine – so pretty.

E family, thanks so much for sweating with me in the early September Texas heat! Enjoy your sneak peek :)

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful blue-eyed baby girl Sunday evening. She was a little stingy with the smiles (okay, a WHOLE lot stingy!), but I couldn’t get enough of her chubby cheeks and her rolls all over. Isn’t she just the cutest? Apparently the tongue trick she’s doing in the photo above is a new development. Her Daddy wanted me to make sure I got it and I definitely did – I have about 10 frames in a row of it – too adorable! We did manage to capture a couple small smiles, but smiles or not, Harper is one gorgeous baby.

Brett and Maggie, it was so great to meet you guys! Harper is such a sweet girl! I had a great time hanging out with y’all and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

You know it’s going to be an incredibly fun session when that picture above is one of the first frames you shoot! I finally got to meet Jack on Saturday morning after having to reschedule his mini session due to extreme wind a few weeks ago…he was such a character and just loved hamming it up for the camera. He wins the award for the most outgoing toddler I’ve ever photographed and I loved every second of it! We had such a fun time walking around downtown Georgetown capturing all of Jack’s faces as well as some adorable family shots too. Thank you so much, G family for letting me photograph you guys. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

The last of my mini sessions yesterday was the A family. I’ve known them for quite awhile and have been photographing them for a long time too! I always love seeing their adorable kiddos, and yesterday was no exception. They’ve added a new addition since I photographed them last – sweet little Kaedence. Wrangling three kids and trying to get a decent portrait is no easy task, but thankfully we were able to get quite a few in the time I was with them yesterday!

Stevie and Sean, I’m so glad you let me photograph your beautiful family again! Enjoy your sneak peek!!
