little girl in downtown round rock, texas

Kate is my little guy’s best friend – we have at least one play date together every week and he asks if “we are gonna see Kate” nearly every day! You can read more about Kate’s adventures on her blog – Christina always does the coolest activities with her!

I was so excited to finally get to do her pictures after having to reschedule this past fall. I loved taking Kate’s pictures this time around because I’ve gotten to know her pretty well over the past half a year – she was completely herself at the session (not that the girl knows how to be shy! :) ) I also loved that since I’m good friends with her mommy, I don’t feel the slightest bit weird asking them to sit on the ground in the middle of the street – Christina totally gets it! :) Enjoy your sneak peek, Christina and Michael!

Sweet Lily. I’ve been photographing her since she was just ten days old, and even though I know it shouldn’t, for some reason it always surprises me when I see how much she’s grown. She’s now a beautiful, silly, smart two-year-old and she made me smile behind the camera for our entire session! She still has gorgeous blue eyes and a smile that lights up her entire face. Aaron and Kristina, thank you so much for trusting me to capture these precious moments of Lily’s childhood. You guys will always hold a special place in my heart! Enjoy your sneak peek! :)

Long Center for the Performing Arts family pics in Austin, TX
Way back in March, I held a Facebook contest to celebrate the third anniversary of Libby Ann Photography…the C family won and we did their pictures downtown last Saturday. I haven’t had a session where I’ve laughed so much in a long time and it was so much fun! Kelly and Alex (well, mostly Alex ;) ) were full of great ideas for poses for their photos and Ali and Sam are two of the most adorable kids ever! I was sad when it started getting dark because I wasn’t quite finished having fun with them yet! :) I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek…there are tons more to come!

Oh my, has Braxton grown since the last time I photographed him! He’s gone from chubby baby cheeks to spiky toddler hair (though a little bit of those kissable cheeks are still left!) It’s always so much fun photographing this family. They’re up for anything I suggest and always are dressed so nicely…makes my job pretty easy! :) Kristen and Tim, it was great to see you again. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

This family has a special place in my heart…I’ve done sessions for them on two different occasions and I love how real and natural they are in front of the camera. They don’t fret about shirts that are a little too big or windblown hair…they just are themselves and I *love* it! I also love how much Justin and Kari love their girls. They want nothing more than to see them smile and squeal with delight and I think it really shows in the images we get when we’re together. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did and love your images…I sure do!!

Mayfield Park holiday mini sessions
I try hard to stay away from bribery during my sessions, at least in the beginning…I’ve learned from experience with my own 2 year old that there’s a very small window for picture taking between giving the food bribe and said food bribe being all over their face ;) But Marshall was so in love with his candy corn that he stuck it in his pocket and kept checking on it throughout the session! It was so, so adorable! His younger brother Owen was quite the trooper and took a couple tumbles in our attempt to get a sibling shot…but in the end we got one and it’s one of my favorites! Enjoy your sneak peek, B family!

Mayfield park fall mini sessions

I’ve lucked out lately and have gotten the sweetest, most adorable siblings to photography and I love it! Last Sunday, I met Savannah and her baby brother Bennett for their holiday mini session and I had so much fun with them! Savannah loved the peacocks at Mayfield Park (as well as some cookies her mom brought along!) and I got to witness all her adorable expressions! Hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek :)

I adore these brothers and I love how much they love each other. Seeing the two of them together makes me want to have another little boy so mine can hopefully be as sweet to each other as they are! I knew the second I shot the picture above that I was going to love it, but it’s seriously one of my favorite images ever! I came home, downloaded my cards and edited it before I’d hardly said “hi” to my family…they forgave me! This session was just one I could have kept on shooting for hours and hours – Fast Jet Pilot Jack provided tons of entertainment for us! :) Thank you MC and Jon!!
