I try hard to stay away from bribery during my sessions, at least in the beginning…I’ve learned from experience with my own 2 year old that there’s a very small window for picture taking between giving the food bribe and said food bribe being all over their face 
But Marshall was so in love with his candy corn that he stuck it in his pocket and kept checking on it throughout the session! It was so, so adorable! His younger brother Owen was quite the trooper and took a couple tumbles in our attempt to get a sibling shot…but in the end we got one and it’s one of my favorites! Enjoy your sneak peek, B family!

I got to meet these two adorable sisters on Sunday evening and had such a fun time with them! They seriously could not be any cuter and their mom picked the perfect coordinating outfits for them…I loved it!! The light was to die for gorgeous toward the end of our session and I couldn’t help playing around with a little sun-soaked sweetness in some of Grace’s pictures 
I have tons of adorable family shots and sister shots, but I promised mom I’d keep them under wraps so no Christmas card surprises were spoiled…if I remember and have time, I’ll have to come back and share because this session was FUN and is filled with so many adorable pictures! It was great to meet you all – thanks for hauling all the way up to North Austin for me! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek

Aden certainly made us work for the smiles on Saturday morning, but I’m happy to say that we got so many wonderful shots of him I had a hard time narrowing them down for their blog sneak peek! Aden is two days older than my little guy, and he is so so TALL! I couldn’t believe how much he’d grown since the last time I saw him…he’s much more mobile now too If I had to pick one thing that I love about photography most, it would definitely be the ability to preserve moments in time…moments like when Aden was a sweet, cuddly baby and moments like now, when he’s an independent, fast, and fun toddler. Yesterday I had my first set of fall mini sessions and they were fantastic! You can be expecting blog posts over the next few days filled with beautiful images of gorgeous families…so fun! First up is a family that I was so excited to see again! I took Maddie’s pictures for her first birthday, almost a year ago and I was thrilled when her dad contacted me to do a family shoot for both kiddos this time! The light was absolutely gorgeous Saturday morning at Mayfield Park. I had fun with some backlighting, which I love and then we moved to a more shaded area where the light was streaming through the leaves of the trees. The weather yesterday was gorgeous – we’re finally getting a bit of a taste of fall! I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I am!!

I’ve been photographing Dax since he was just a few days old and I have so many great memories of this sweet family! This past Saturday was no exception to that – Dax has grown up into one of the most adorable two-year-olds ever…he has awesome hair and the personality to go along with it! We had so much fun at his session, with the help of a pack of Annie’s gummy bunnies that we stretched out until the very end Lynda and Mike, it was so great to see you guys again! Hope you enjoy your images as much as I do – you guys are so fun!
and last but not least, my favorite smiles of the session…the “daddy’s gonna get me!” faces – so so cute!
