This isn’t really a sneak peek anymore since their gallery slideshow has already been delivered, but I just couldn’t let these adorable pictures of Emerson sneak away into my archived files without making an appearance on the blog! Right before Christmas I got to meet this adorable little one to take her 1st birthday photos. It was chilly and a little bit rainy outside, so we played inside for most of her session. I had so much fun with them reading stories, crawling around a lot, eating some snacks, and practicing walking with mommy and daddy. She had her first birthday party this past weekend…happy birthday, Emerson!

Austin Baby Photographer | Happy Birthday!
January 9, 2012Austin Baby Photographer | Jack
November 28, 2011I had great intentions of getting sweet Jack’s blog sneak peek up early last week because my husband was in Germany for the week for work…and you know, that means I’d have all kinds of free time to work…right? Right?! Wrong. I’m so behind in everything, but I’m thankful for awesome, understanding clients like this family! This is Jack…isn’t he absolutely adorable? I *loved* his outfit and his chubby cheeks – so, so sweet! He wasn’t so sure about me and my big camera at first, but he was totally being a ham by the end of our session. 10 months is such a fun age!
Austin Family Photographer | Winners!
November 21, 2011
Way back in March, I held a Facebook contest to celebrate the third anniversary of Libby Ann Photography…the C family won and we did their pictures downtown last Saturday. I haven’t had a session where I’ve laughed so much in a long time and it was so much fun! Kelly and Alex (well, mostly Alex
) were full of great ideas for poses for their photos and Ali and Sam are two of the most adorable kids ever! I was sad when it started getting dark because I wasn’t quite finished having fun with them yet!
I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek…there are tons more to come!

November 21, 2011
Oh my, has Braxton grown since the last time I photographed him! He’s gone from chubby baby cheeks to spiky toddler hair (though a little bit of those kissable cheeks are still left!) It’s always so much fun photographing this family. They’re up for anything I suggest and always are dressed so nicely…makes my job pretty easy!
Kristen and Tim, it was great to see you again. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
Austin Family Photography | Love
November 17, 2011
This family has a special place in my heart…I’ve done sessions for them on two different occasions and I love how real and natural they are in front of the camera. They don’t fret about shirts that are a little too big or windblown hair…they just are themselves and I *love* it! I also love how much Justin and Kari love their girls. They want nothing more than to see them smile and squeal with delight and I think it really shows in the images we get when we’re together. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did and love your images…I sure do!!
Austin Family Photographer | Dahlia is one!
November 12, 2011
Last weekend I met up with the sweetest family. Jennifer came up and gave me a hug right after getting out of the car and from the very start, it felt like I’d known them for years, not just minutes! Miss Dahlia was a little stubborn about giving us smiles, but we managed to capture a few! She was incredibly proud of her new walking skills and showed them off a few times. Each time she did, she’d throw her arms up in the air as if to exclaim, “I did it!” Jennifer and Nadav, it was so wonderful to meet you both! I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek!
Austin Baby Photographer | Ethan
November 12, 2011
I’m pretty sure someone sped up time somewhere over the past year. Because it is most certainly NOT the middle of November…right?? And little Ethan can’t be 10 months old, right? Because it feels like I was just at his house photographing his tiny newborn self…it was chilly out last weekend when we met up to get some shots of Ethan and his parents, but he was a trooper and gave me his best grins, played peek-a-boo, and was a total flirt – loved it! He’s grown up so much in just a year and is as cute as can be! Jenna and Matt, thank you so much for letting me take pictures of Ethan again! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek
Austin Children’s Photographer | Candy Corn
November 7, 2011
I try hard to stay away from bribery during my sessions, at least in the beginning…I’ve learned from experience with my own 2 year old that there’s a very small window for picture taking between giving the food bribe and said food bribe being all over their face
But Marshall was so in love with his candy corn that he stuck it in his pocket and kept checking on it throughout the session! It was so, so adorable! His younger brother Owen was quite the trooper and took a couple tumbles in our attempt to get a sibling shot…but in the end we got one and it’s one of my favorites! Enjoy your sneak peek, B family!
