I went to college with Jennifer and Nick and we’ve kept in touch through Facebook. I’ve followed her decorating blog since they bought their house, jealous of her decorating skills! Through the awesomeness of social networking, I heard that Jennifer was pregnant with a little girl and was absolutely thrilled and excited when she asked me to take maternity and newborn pictures for them! Her vision for her maternity session was to have “sun-kissed” pictures…but the weather had different plans for us. I just love the way they turned out, despite the cloudy skies!

Jennifer and Duane have a surprise baby coming any day now and I’m so excited to meet him or her! We met up last weekend and walked around down on South Congress capturing some pictures of Jennifer’s perfect baby bump! They are already so in love with their little one and are going to be such wonderful parents. I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek and your last few days as a family of two!
I absolutely love early morning light. Yes, it’s a pain to get up early, get all ready and go out and take pictures. Coffee is a must…but it’s so, so worth it! I was thrilled with Lindsay agreed to meet me bright and early for her maternity pictures – she even stayed overnight with her mom so she didn’t have to make the drive from Buda to Round Rock! Lindsay, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek…can’t wait to meet your little guy in a few weeks!!
I met Charlene and Ernesto last Saturday evening to take some maternity photos for them. They have a baby boy due at the end of October and I absolutely can’t wait to meet their little boy…he’s going to be handsome! Ernesto kept us all laughing at our session – I just love the way he could make Charlene laugh! The lighting was absolutely gorgeous toward the end of their session and with the sun shining through the trees, they looked a little more fall-like than dying-from-drought
Thank you guys so much for your patience with me getting this sneak peek up! You will be seeing your gallery soon!!
About a year ago, I photographed this sweet family. It’s hard for me to believe that little Ali was just 6 months old then…boy time does fly! In just a few months, this family is going to grow again…Alina is going to become a big sister to a brand new baby brother. She was a bit more shy with the smiles than she was last time, but still incredibly attached to daddy. That seems to be a trend with the little girls I’ve been photographing lately
Kelly is gorgeous, as always, and seems thrilled to about to be a mom of two little ones.
C Family, thanks so much for letting me photograph your family Sunday! It was a joy
Enjoy your sneak peek!
Yesterday I was blessed to get to photograph two beautiful pregnant women awaiting their precious little babies…first up is Julie! Julie is absolutely glowing – she is the most laid back and relaxed person ever and I had so much fun walking around downtown Georgetown with her and her husband Kelly. They are expecting their third child, Lucy, in just a couple months and seem incredibly excited for her arrival!
Julie and Kelly, thanks so much for allowing me to photograph you guys yesterday! I had a blast. Enjoy your sneak peek!
Shelby and Kasey have been good friends of ours for several years now. We met through a church bible study and now we make a point to get together and hang out. We were super excited when we found out that Shelby was expecting their first child…and even more excited when we found out it is a boy! Asher will be making his appearance sometime in late July/early August and I think I might be just about as excited as Shelby is
We hit up South Congress for their maternity portraits and then finished off the evening with dinner at Chuy’s. All in all, it was a fantastic night and I can’t wait to do it again!
Enjoy your sneak peek, guys!
