Last Sunday, I met up with Riley at the Long Center to take his senior pictures…I learned two things that day: a) I really need to invest in some gloves to keep my fingers from freezing! and b) seniors are so much fun to photograph! I’ve known Riley’s family for a long time and they were some of my very first clients when I was first starting out in photography. He’s done some really cool stuff since I last photographed them, including spending two summers with the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corp in the front ensemble…isn’t that a fun accomplishment?! I spent my high school days hanging out in the same band hall he lives in now, so it was neat to chat with him about that. Plus, photographing a subject that takes direction? Very refreshing! Thanks Riley…hope you enjoy your sneak peek!!

December 4, 2011Austin Senior Pictures | Sam
April 4, 2011Sam’s mom and my mom used to work together several years ago. Somehow she remembered that I was a photographer and contacted me about taking Sam’s senior pictures. I’m so glad she did because I had a fantastic time walking around the park yesterday chatting with them and capturing some great shots for them to remember Sam’s senior year by! Sam plays baseball for his high school (and my brother did too), so we had lots in common and lots of things to talk about!
Jill and Sam, it was so great to meet you guys yesterday! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

November 7, 2010Chris’s mom contacted me a few weeks ago wanting to get some senior pictures taken for her son – and Chris reminded her uite often that they were “her” pictures! It’s such a nice change of pace to get to work with seniors – they actually listen to you and I don’t have to get in a second workout for the day chasing them all over a field
We had such a fantastic conversation while walking through Old Settlers Park capturing some awesome pictures to remember his senior year of high school by.
Chris and Dianna, thanks so much for meeting up with me yesterday. It was great to see you guys again. Enjoy your sneak peek!
Austin Senior Portraits | Ashley
July 10, 2010Ashley and her mom met me at the Capitol this morning to take some belated senior pictures. She’ll be going to college this fall and they wanted to get some pictures to document this important milestone in her life and find that *one* great picture for rush! It was hot and bright this morning and the Capitol was absolutely packed with people, but we got some pictures of Ashley that I just love! Not that it’s hard when you have such a beautiful subject to work with
Ashley and Julie, it was great to meet you this morning. Enjoy your sneak peek!

November 8, 2009Here are a few more from Zach’s session yesterday…I had so much fun at this session! Loved the cool weather, the leaves that are (finally) changing, the parking garage, and all this kid’s awesome photo ideas. We had such a wonderful time and I took way, way too many pictures.
Enjoy your sneak peek, Zach!
Ironic, huh? On the cell phone in front of the pay-phone that didn’t actually have a phone in it!
