Andrew and Christine got married this past Friday at Kindred Oaks. The wedding was beautiful and the weather was gorgeous. Not too hot yet, which was so nice! Ame Soeur Events coordinated the wedding and everything was just perfect! I loved all the little touches and details left around. They even had personalized candy bars…so cool (and yummy!) Elyse and Johnathan were married last Saturday at gorgeous Texas Old Town in Kyle. It was such a perfect day – not too hot, a tiny bit overcast, and a bit breezy. Elyse definitely paid attention to details in her wedding – everything was decorated and it all flowed together so well! Katie, of Modern Muse Makeup Artistry did her makeup and Elyse was glowing all night long.

Stephen and Charla got married yesterday at Casa Blanca in Round Rock. It was a gorgeous day, as was their wedding! I’ve known Stephen since high school and it was so much fun to see him and Charla blissfully happy on their wedding day. A huge thanks to my assistant, MC, who helped me out with their wedding.

Yeah, I know it’s not 2009 anymore. Better late than never, right? I had a seriously hard time narrowing it down to ten. So I didn’t! These are my 21 favorites from my client sessions in 2009. Alisa and Brent’s wedding at Bella Notte in Round Rock was gorgeous! Alisa was absolutely glowing and they were so in love and so fun to photograph! The rain held off and we were even able to sneak outside for a few minutes to take some pictures after the ceremony. Congratulations you two! Enjoy your sneak peek (and Hawaii)!

I love all the little things about weddings. I love the shoes, the flowers, the rings, the ribbons. I love the little glances, the whispered secrets, the smiles between the bride and groom. I love the messed up wedding vows, the first kiss, the first dance. I love the way the groom looks when he first sees his bride. I always get a little teary when the father gives the bride away and when the groom dances with his mom. And I always get chills when the couple is introduced for the first time.
