I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family last Saturday evening at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. It was warm and perfect outside and I was pleasantly surprised that there were still a bunch of wildflowers out! Sweet little Noah was so excited to tell me all about his favorite movie, Toy Story. He’d ramble off a huge, long story and then shout, “Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!” It was precious and helped me get the most adorable little smiles out of him! I’ve been photographing Dax since he was just a tiny, 5 pound newborn. I’ve gotten to watch him grow up in to the adorable little boy he is today and it’s been so much fun! I was thrilled when his mama told me she was expecting a little sister for him and even more excited when she booked a newborn session for his little sister. Heather & Chip’s little girl finally arrived a couple weeks ago and I had the pleasure of photographing her when she as just six days old. Liliana was seriously every newborn photographer’s dream baby! She slept peacefully the entire session, nursed herself into a milk coma, and was so relaxed and easy to pose. I loved it! I also loved her full head of dark (crazy!) hair and all that 8lb 5oz chub that gave her the most adorable rolls and cheeks. Thank you guys so much for letting me photograph your sleeping beauty! Beautiful is the best adjective to describe this family…they’re beautiful inside and out and I had so much fun with them last weekend! It was a gorgeous day in Austin to take pictures, albeit a little on the warm side. Little miss had the most adorable, scrunchy nose smile and big brother was so enthusiastic about exploring nature! This sweet little girl just couldn’t wait to meet her parents and arrived 8 weeks early. She spent that time in the NICU growing and getting strong and finally came home last weekend. I got to meet her on what was originally her due date! With preemies, you never know how the session is going to go…they can either behave like a newborn and sleep through it or they can behave like an 8 week old…Sloane slept right through her session, let me pose her to my heart’s content, and even gave us some sleepy smiles…perfect! I had such a great afternoon with her family and I’m so thrilled that she’s finally home Congratulations Molly and Ryan!

Christine and Brian are expecting their first baby, a boy, in early May. I am so incredibly excited to meet him – he’s bound to be adorable with such gorgeous parents! I love doing maternity sessions since I get a chance to chat with moms and dads who are so excited for their little ones to arrive, and this session was no different. I got to meet up with one of my favorite families a couple weekends ago for a session to celebrate sweet baby Hudson turning 6 months old and get a few family photos since it’d been way too long since I’d done those for them! I couldn’t believe how chunky and completely adorable Hudson has gotten…or how grown up Keegan looked! We had a great (albeit slightly hot) time and I’m just thrilled with the photos we got. March was a busy month for us – Greg and I celebrated our 5th anniversary and Will turned three! There were wildflowers, play dates, parks, swimming lessons, storytimes, bounce houses, children’s museums, sunday schools, gyms, and lots and lots of love.
