Austin Newborn Photographer | Olivia – 13 Days

newborn baby posing in Austin, Texas

I got to meet sweet little Olivia back in March and she was just the best little girl for her photo session. We got to try out so many fun newborn poses, used pretty much all of my newborn girl props, and then finished up with some shots of her parents doting on her in front of their amazing downtown Austin home. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better session and had a darn hard time picking my favorite images for her blog post! Thank you guys so much for letting me play with your little girl earlier this year. I hope you’ve adjusted to your new role as parents and that Miss Olivia is letting you get at least some sleep   🙂

Editing all these newborn images is making me so excited for my own little newborn to arrive! We’ve got about 9 weeks left until my due date and four left until my maternity leave starts…wow! I couldn’t have asked for a better pregnancy – I still feel great and I’m enjoying spending a lot of time in the water now that the weather is warming up. I will open my calendar for fall booking on June 1st and spaces for the fall will be limited so I can make time for my new family of four. If you’re interested in booking something for the fall, please contact me to schedule your session.

I got to see that handsome little guy when he was just 9 days old and absolutely one of the cutest babies I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. He was so easy to pose and threw out lots and lots of smiles during his session! Big brother Noah was so excited to be a big brother and we had all kinds of fun playing on the bed during their family photos. I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful baby boy in February and he was a dream. He slept, he was relaxed, and he was just too darn adorable…the perfect combo! I had such a great time posing him, especially in the adorable football set his mama purchased just for his session! G family, thank you so much for inviting me to document this special time in your life! Austin Family Photographer | Happy Moments

Family portraits in Austin, Texas

I’ve had such a fun time getting to know this family over the past year and I always come home from our sessions excited to download cards and pick out favorites from their session…this time was certainly no exception! Their girls are getting bigger and the littlest one is much more on the move than when I first met her, but it’s so fun to go back though the images over the past year and see how they’ve changed! I adore all the sweet smiles and gorgeous light we were able to capture during this session, and I think it may be my favorite to date! I hope you guys are enjoying your images as much as I am!!Family portraits in Austin, TexasFamily portraits in Austin, TexasFamily portraits in Austin, TexasFamily portraits in Austin, TexasFamily portraits in Austin, TexasFamily portraits in Austin, TexasFamily portraits in Austin, Texas

Alejandra Rodriguez - Beautiful pictures! You are not only extremely patient, and a great photographer, but also a magician!!! We showed up to our session with a cranky baby, an uncooperative three year old, and a tired mom. What did you deliver? Beautiful pictures of two smiling kids and gorgeous moments of the 4 of us together. Thank you Libby!!!

Erica - These are adorable! Nice job!

Austin Children’s Photographer | Introducing Chasing Moments

I’ve gotten really bad about documenting my own little family. I love taking pictures, but after a busy week of sessions, the last thing I want to do is add to my workload of pictures to edit! A group of photographers that I’m friends with have decided to start a blog circle called Chasing Moments – it’s all about capturing your family in the everyday and then posting about it once a month. I’m really excited to be a part of it and as an added bonus, it’s encouraging me to stop snapping things with my iPhone and get out my ‘real’ camera for a change! This month, I’m sharing my boy’s first time dying Easter eggs!

Boy dying Easter eggs in Austin, Texas

He was very excited to dye them! This was our first year to actually dye eggs. Last year we were going to and it just never happened…and honestly? I’m kind of glad we waited. The mess that we made was probably MUCH less than it would have been with a just-turned-3-year-old 😉 Grandma, Grandpa, Daddy, and Mommy all helped with the eggs and Will LOVED writing on them with the crayon. We all had a great time!Boy dying Easter eggs in Austin, TexasWant to know how I get real smiles out of him? Hop on over to my friend Nikki’s blog to see her adorable little boys doing what they do!

Kelly Gorney - These are so much fun, Libby! Love them! He is such a cutie.

Kimberly - Oh, he’s gotten so big and is just so handsome. Love the bright vivid colors. Our eggs never seem to get that bright.

jennifermauren - LOVE the concentration here!

Austin Senior Photographer | Claire, Class of 2013

senior girl in Austin, Texas

It’s kind of a rare treat for me to photograph adults…I spend most of my time photographing newborns or little ones who think it’s the most fun in the world to run away from my camera! And while the younger ones are where my passion truly lies, it’s nice to take a little break and challenge myself with a senior session. Claire met me for her session earlier this year, and I swear it had been 90* just the day before. Um, not that morning. It was freezing – I could see my breath! I do NOT like the cold or being cold at all. Texas is perfect for me, ha! But Claire rocked her session that morning and didn’t even look one tiny bit cold. I love the images we captured together and the new location we discovered. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, Claire! You’re going to do awesome things in the world!senior girl in Austin, Texassenior girl in Austin, Texassenior girl in Austin, Texassenior girl in Austin, Texas

Kimberly - Beautiful girl, awesome locations, stunning session!

Austin Newborn Photographer | Sutton – 8 Days

newborn baby boy in austin, texas

I got to meet Mr. Sutton on his 8th day of life and he was perfect and sleepy and oh-so-adorable! We were supposed to do his mama’s maternity session, but rain and and early arrival from Sutton meant that the maternity session turned into a newborn session instead! I had such a fun time hanging out with Sutton’s family…he and his big brother Wyatt are just over a year apart…I can only imagine the bond they’re going to have growing up and all the fun (and mischief!) they’re going to get into together 🙂 W family, thanks so much for inviting me into your home to photograph your sweet little boys!
